David Z. Deng, Ph.D. Joins Conductive Technologies as Director Research & Development
Conductive Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is pleased to announce that David Z. Deng, Ph.D. has joined Conductive Technologies Inc. as the Director of Research and Development effective May 15, 2017. David will be a member of the senior management team reporting to Rick Eagle, CTI President. He will have responsibility for the Technical Services Department which includes R&D, New Product Development, Product Design, Process Engineering and Project Development.
David brings over 25 years of research, product development and commercialization experience to our organization. His professional tenure includes positions of increasing responsibility at Boehringer Mannheim, Roche Diagnostics, NIPRO Diagnostics and most recently Omni Biomedical, Inc. In addition to managing diverse teams, David has generated over 50 US patents and patent applications and has authored numerous articles and presentations.
David earned his BS degree in Polymer Engineering from East China University of Science & Technology and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering & Materials Science from the University of Minnesota.
David will be working with Matthew Musho, Ph.D. as Matthew transitions to his well-deserved retirement at the end of June. Matthew will continue in a consultative capacity with CTI, providing support to David and his team on key projects and initiatives.
