technologies incorporate surface-mount LEDs, chip resistors, diodes, and capacitors.
Various resistors can now be printed or mounted onto the membrane panel itself, function
as momentary contact potentiometers, and reduce both the number of surface-mounted PCB
elements and the number of required exiting signal traces as well.
