Products
Electro-Chemical and Medical Sensors
Conductive Technologies specializes in manufacturing electro-chemical sensors for a number of
applications, including printing conductive and non-conductive inks on polycarbonate
and polyester substrates to form electrodes.
Materials
Conductive Technologies uses polyester and polycarbonate substrates, conductive inks, thin metal films and other materials for medical sensors.
Process
The process involves printing, reagent deposition, assembly and packaging to give final
excision of sensors from cards that can be accomplished using laser cutting, die cutting or
slitting.
Product Testing
Conductive Technologies will perform in-process and finished product testing on medical and
electro-chemical sensors to ensure quality.
Laser Ablation
Conductive Technologies creates features into thin metal films using UV-laser ablation that are
used in applications such as Amperometric and Potentiometric Sensors.
Membrane Switches
Membrane switches manufactured by Conductive Technologies are precise electronic instruments that
provide accurate and reliable control access to all common microprocessor based logic systems.
Electro-Mechanical Characteristics for Membrane Switches
Conductive Technologies' membrane switches allow maximum design potential for decorative surface
graphics, incorporated shielding and tactile dome response requirements.
Membrane Switch Termination
Conductive Technologies' membrane switch circuitry connects with logic systems through interactive
conductive ink circuitry.
Just One Laser Prototypes
"Just One" is a 50 watt, laser processing system providing computer-driven prototypes of printed or
unprinted membrane switch components, graphics evaluation and inspection without the necessity of
buying tooling.
Digital Printing Prototypes
The Digital Printing Program utilizes a six color inkjet process to provide either color proofs of
face graphics for customer approval printed on semi-gloss paper or mock-ups or prototypes using a
6 mil polyester face with a matte finish.
Backlit Face Graphics for Membrane Switches
Conductive Technologies pioneered techniques for embedding light-emitting subminiature radial lead
diodes (LEDs) wholly within the matrix of the membrane key switches.
UV Hardcoating & Texturing
A wide variety of surface appearances or textures may be achieved for printed faceplates. These
finishes may be applied on vinyl, polycarbonate, polyester, and similar substrates.
Armor-Plated Membrane Switches
Our membrane switch technology evolves from keyboards used primarily in controlled, industrial,
biomedical and technological applications to systems intended to access public facilities.
Materials for Membrane Switches
Specific grades of polyester and polycarbonates are the engineered materials which, over the years,
have best met the high standards that Conductive Technologies has set for membrane switch construction.
Printed Flexible Heaters
Printed flexible heaters are constructed using several elements, including PTC materials, for
delivering heat.
RFI/ESD Shielding Conductive Technologies' family of RFI/ESD shielding products
includes both discrete "stand alone" shield and switch-integrated shields.
