Product Designer

Conductive Technologies Inc. (CTI) is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Designer with AutoCAD experience to join our team!  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing concepts of new products, with a focus on design and controlling manufacturability.  This collaborative role is located in our York, Pennsylvania facility.  We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and creativity to enable our Customer’s innovations.

What the Job Looks Like

Through close collaboration with the engineering team, the Product Designer will play an integral role in developing drawings and process documents for final release to manufacturing.   Responsibilities also include:

  • Review and define customer & CTI expectations based on product type
  • Provide conceptional drawings and layouts
  • Release prototypes to production
  • Follow and/or create project trackers and timelines
  • Coordinate design information with customer’s technical staff
  • Provide optical measurement equipment support, calibration and maintenance
  • Create estimates on new and existing projects
  • Control all release documentation
  • Aid Product Engineering during initial release of projects
  • Provide production assistance on all orders


Important Qualifications to your Success

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
  • 2-year degree in CADD or Engineering discipline preferred or minimum 7 years’ experience in CADD/Engineering
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems preferred; experience with Photoshop or Corel is a plus
  • Medical device design and experience with GMP, FDA and ISO preferred.
  • Basic understanding of silkscreen printing and converting processes a plus
  • Ability to lead initiatives with minimal to no supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starting team player than can handle multiple and changing priorities
